Unit 3 SUMMATIVE Assessment

We have been briefed about our Summative assessment. We have chosen an area to organise and started our planning.

The first step is to make a list and collect data. This is where Tally Charts and T-charts come in.

We also graphed the data so that we can analyse and make decisions based on them.

Construction Area

We have Daisuke and Sohum organising the Construction Area.

Class Library

Anika and Mia decided that since the library has been organised, they would set up a system to keep a record of the books we have and also a borrowing and returning system.

Maker Space

Yuma, Gabriel and Adam are looking into organising our Maker Space. They did an inventory of the tools we have using a tally chart.

Playground Equipment

Maori and Ryuki are looking into a way to organise our playground equipment effectively.

Data collecting and Graphing

We used what we have learned about charts and data collection to gather the data we need before planning our system for organisation.

They have learned so much from this unit about self organisation and systems. I hope to see them using the skills acquired in their personal lives as well!
