The Wheel and Axle

The third simple machine we learned about is the wheel and axle. We also learned about gears. We spent our Friday afternoon building moving toys.

Takeaki brought a robot that he built to class. He was the expert in his group, explaining to the boys how his robot used gears and a battery supply to draw.

Another group of children worked on making Lego toys that move on wheels.
