We are into Day 3 of our Book Week. The excitement continues.

Mystery Reader of the Day

We had a surprise visitor in the classroom in the morning. Sohum's mum, Roshi, was there to read us a humorous book "The Book with No Pictures". It had us all rolling in stitches!

Sohum also shared a funny book about a teacher who turned into a hippo!

Reader's Theatre

We had such fun creating props for our Reader's Theatre. It was a meaningful literacy exercise as the competent readers took on roles with more speaking parts. All of us had to read along quietly so that we will know when it is our turn. The Pre-schoolers enjoyed our reading. Mr.Brabant praised Ryuki for being a risk taker.

The "Guess the Character" prize goes to Mia for guessing correctly that Ms.Shingam is the baking lady from the story "The Gingerbread Man". Well done, Mia!
